Today's Show~n~Tell is yet another sketch from Clean and Simple Stamping. I love their sketches because they are so easy. I feel I can do so much with them.
And this is what I did with it...
I have been waiting for the chance to play with my new stamp set Falling Leaves from PTI. I felt this was the perfect time....I love the sentiments that go with the stamp set. Especially this one on my card.
Supplies:
Really Rust, White, And Chocolate Chip cardstock (SU!)
Designer series paper
Falling Leaves stamp set (PTI)
Chocolate Chip pigment ink (SU!), Versamark ink
Natural twine
Sage Shadow, Really Rust, and More Mustard markers (SU!)
Scalloped edge punch
Dimensional tape
adhesive
scissors
*SU! = Stampin' Up! *PTI = Papertrey Ink
Instructions:
- Fold Really Rust cardstock into shape of a card.
- Stamp leaves with versamark onto Really Rust cardstock
- Cut a 3 x 4 1/4 piece of white cardstock.
- Cut two pieces of 3/4 x 3 inch designer paper.
- Adhere designer paper onto white cardstock.
- Stamp branches image with Chocolate Chip ink.
- Use markers to color directly on the leaves stamp. Huff and stamp image.
- Distress edges.
- Punch scalloped edges with chocolate chip paper. Adhere onto white cardstock.
- Stamp sentiment onto Really Rust cardstock. Cut out around sentiment and distress edges.
- Wrap twine around main image.
- Adhere sentiment with dimensional tape. Tie a knot with twine.
