Felt Boo Bag

Inspired by the boo bags I spotted on Eighteen25 and Pottery Barn Kids I came up with this cute boo bag...

 

This is the first one out of three.  I just haven't finished the other two yet.  This bag measure 9 x 7.  I created my own template for the bag and the little handle.  The pumpkin is actually a cookie cutter that I traced onto the orange felt.  I just used a slip stitch around the pumpkin and features to attach it to the felt bag.  Then I used embroidery thread to do a blanket stitch around the entire bag to attach it together. 

 

I can't wait to leave this cute little bag full of treats on my neighbor's front door.  My kids have the best time ringing the doorbell, placing the bag on the step, and running away as fast as they can so it can be a surprise.  For now I just have one, but I will share the other two bags when I have them finished.  As well as the treats I included inside:)
